Social Studies event of the year.

The most dramatic event in the social studies offering this year will be a trip to Washington DC in May. Six LEAP students will participate in the Close-Up New Americans Program, visiting senators and congressmen and studying government for a week in the nation's capitol. This trip follows a number of other trips by all students in the citizenship classes to various locations in the metro area - the state capitol, Ramsey Co courts, city council and MN history center.
